Our missionA place where memory loss doesn’t mean disappearing.
The Tumbleweed Club is a nonprofit adult day club and Memory Café in Goodyear, Arizona, built on a simple belief: even when memory loss changes a great deal, the person you love is still there.
Dementia can make the world feel smaller, both for the person living with it and for the family caring for them. The club is a warm, supervised place where seniors can be around others, stay active, and enjoy their afternoon, while the people who care for them get a real break.
What we believe
A diagnosis is not a personality. Behind memory loss is a whole person, with a sense of humor, a history, and a need to belong. Our job is to reach that person. We lean on what memory keeps longest: familiar songs, old sayings, and the comfort of being known.
The name
It is a nod to something simple, the line on our logo: keep rolling along. A tumbleweed keeps moving and always finds a place to settle. Wherever your family is in this, there is a place here to land.
- Nonprofit & mission-first. As a registered 501(c)(3), every dollar goes back into the experience, not into profit.
- Specialized in memory care. Our team is trained for dementia and age-related needs, so families can relax.
- Rooted in the West Valley. Local, personal, and here for Goodyear families for the long haul.
“A safe place to belong, connect, and thrive.”
More than a slogan. It is what we aim for every time we open the doors.
